Name: Cyphaspis foumzguidensis van Viersen & Holland, 2016
Stratigraphy: ZGEE3, Timrhanrhart Formation, lower Eifelian
Locality: Foum Zguid, Morocco

Another species, Cyphaspis hamidi Chatterton et al., 2006, from stratigraphically lower levels (ZGEE1 and ZGEE2) at the nearby Zguilma locality, is similar to C. foumzguidensis yet distinctly different in having a more strongly inflated median glabellar lobe; longer, more inflated L1; larger eyes; narrower (tr.) librigenal field lateral of the eye, with fewer granules.
